Feed Back on the Caption vote

I cant believe how many people are voting!  Thanks SOOO much guys!  I really appreciate it!  Here is some feed back from Serebral 360:

Re: caption

if thats the case then you need something fresh and new.

1.  "You can take that to the bank!" is a no go has been used to death

2.  "He makes dollars but he don't make sense."

maybe play on the words like "He makes dollars from none cents." cents/sense its more creative

or...
3.  "Corporate Raider." sounds negative maybe something like," corporate innovator"
or inspirator

Thanks!

Vote for the best "Caption"

Hey people!  I need your opinion!   Going to be starting my email campaign and I cant decide which caption is best for this photo.

Lets say you don't know me and you receive an email from me with this picture. Besides the usual info:

"Danielle Hall Photography/www.daniellehall.net/415.793.3743" and my logo, it will also say either:

1.  "You can take that to the bank!"
2.  "He makes dollars but he don't make sense."
or...
3.  "Corporate Raider."

Your vote counts!!!

Thanks so much,

6 Concepts in 10 weeks!!!

Love getting inspired!

Sooo, from my last blog, you know that my goal is to shoot these 6 different concepts in 10 weeks so I can make some appointments here in SF but also to go along with my marketing plan to take my book to NY, again. (Can I stay with you?)

But what you don't know, are the actual concepts and the amount of production that is having to go into each of them...

Here are the concepts:
1. Baroque Baby
2. Mystic Camp Out
3. Graphic Marc Jacobs: Motion
4. Spy/The Chase
5. Mommy and Me
6. Kerouac Story

I am going to have to back track a little bit to tell you about the first 2 shoots and what went into them in another post. Right now, finishing up the post production work for Baroque Baby and editing for the Mystic Camp Out shoot. Baroque Baby was shot Friday, June 12th and Mystic Camp Out was shot Sunday, June 21rst. I need to work faster! Haha! But after reading what all went into each shoot and what post work went into them you will see that this is a much harder task to accomplish in the time frame we are aiming while also working to make the $$$. More difficult but not impossible!

We are in the process of making the rest of the schedule with shooting Graphic Marc Jacobs Thursday, July 2nd and shooting the Spy/The Chase on the 11th or 12th. In the process of casting for these as I type! 2 more shoots to nail down with dates...looks doable folks!

Lets get to shooting!!!

Thanks for reading!

Who did you meet today?

It never ceases to amaze me how when you are following the right track, life is so much easier and when you do something that is against the grain or natures plan, how hard life can be...

Last week was a great week!  I have been inspired and the creative block has been removed.  And about time too!  I think it started with an email I received from a friend I have been out of contact with for quite some time.  The content of her email made me smile and I am so happy to hear that she is doing well.

Next, after a year of trying to meet up with this particular wardrobe stylist, Ebony Haight, we finally had the opportunity to meet for breakfast.  We totally clicked and what was suppose to be just a meet and greet turned out to be a full on idea fest!  We came up with 6 concepts to be shot over the next couple of months (2.5...ambititous I know!!!)  and we are already shooting the first idea this Friday the 12th!

In prop shopping for this shoot I randomly met the former Marketing Director of Macy's and then in the same day, met a guy whose friend is an Art Director for GAP.  (WHAT!?!?!)  He also has a friend who designs children clothing from Japan and loves to shoot in the Napa area. Then, I randomly met this other guy at Home Depot who needs some interior shots done and we will be discussing that next week.  (you can see my interior and architecture work at www.daniellehall.net/arch)

You never know who you will meet when or where!

Note to self and others:
1. Always look your best.
2. Be nice to everyone.
3. Talk to everyone.
4. Think, "How can I help this person?" NOT, "How can this person help me?"
5. Carry more business cards then you think you need.  (haha!)
6. Always wear a smile.
7. Hold the door/elevator open.
8. Give up your seat.
9. Breakfast is important...eat up!
10. Stay connected.
11. Be ready!

I am so excited for the weeks ahead!  Thanks for reading!
