Today I am...a SUPER HERO!

Apparently I am a super hero!  When your on, you are on and today...I AM ON!

Its been a day full of brainstorming, booking work, lifting spirits, getting paid (always nice!), referring awesome people for the awesome work that they do, and the random stuff on my list getting crossed off!

Its the start of a BIG project I am helping a team of people to produce and cant wait to start sharing!  Its a 4 cups of coffee, making new friends, yummy left over Valencia Pizza and Pasta , letting go, breathing in, and moving forward kind of a day!

Thats a lot...and the days not over yet!

Breakfast BBQ

I don't exactly know who, how or when the idea came about but when whoever suggested to have Breakfast Bbq it was ON!  

Its been such great week and with LIFESTYLE just the night before so Breakfast Bbq came at the perfect time to send us into the weekend smiling.  Good food, good people, good times! 

Come in!  Its starts here!

and when all was said and done...

it was time to go.

Get up and DO STUFF!

Doing more and seeing more!  (tax day...04.15.10)  

Food is entertainment.  We started out at Orphan Andy's in the Castro.  For me: chicken fried steak smothered in gravy, 2 eggs sunny side up, wheat toast and potatoes.  For him: 2 huge pork chops, fried eggs, wheat toast, potatoes and gravy on the side.  ...wow.    

Besides the food being on point its open 24hrs which = AWESOME!  It had cute booth seating, a jukebox, kites hanging above your head, affordable and huge portions of comforting food...we certainly cleaned our plates!  LITERALLY!  There was nothing left!

Our waiters were pleasant...the male waiter seemed like he was having a bit a challenging day...and I am sure that the credit card salesman who came in didnt make things any better when assuming that he had an Australian accent when he is from England!

ONWARD!

Drove around the city taking routes I wouldnt normally take and ended up at Twin Peaks.  Hanging out with the tourist...our favorite being the lady with the umbrella.  She was so happy to be there, enjoying the view and posing for MULTIPLE pictures with her lacy umbrella!     

           

next, TO HAIGHT STREET for some record hunting at Amoebia and then dog awwwing and window gazing!  

MAN!  You can really work up an appetite window shopping and panhandler hoping! So we headed back to the car and brainstormed where the next location would be to feed our bellies!  Delfina!  

Satisfied, we made our way back to get ready for and end our day at LIFESTYLE !!!

BBQing photoshoot style!

Ever wonder how the flame under the grill in an ad looks so perfect?  Well...sometimes its just not real!  

The distance between the "fire" (yellow, orange and red tissue paper along side actual coals that have been spray painted various shades of orange) and the subject combined with shallow depth of field create the illusion of a warm fire flaming below.

Cant show the final image because it isn't out yet but will share when it does!  Good times!
