I had the opportunity to work with Ogilvy PR on a job for Jones New York for their promotion of Jones New York in the classroom where they honored 6 exceptional teachers at the Macy's in Sacramento. What a great event! But before I talk about the end I should probably start from the beginning...
The day started off at Regis Hair Salon where the teachers met each other for the first time and were greeted by their stylist. After having their hair done and swapping "Adventures in Teaching" stories these wonderful ladies were pumped for what was to come!
Next, it was on to make-up! The make-up artists at the Impulse Beauty station inside Macy's were just the sweetest and were as excited about the day as the teachers were. Video and photography cameras in their faces! People stopping and asking who they were! They all said that this day made them feel so special and beautiful.
Thats not all! Onward!
After a morning of primping it was time for the fashion show. Time for a wardrobe change! Each teacher then had the opportunity to walk the runway showing off 3 new looks Jones New York had picked out for them. Tina Macuha from Good Day Sacramento was there to host and the teachers ROCKED that runway!
