Hey Kids!

Ive been a busy bee!  Here's a little something I am working on! 

I am helping to organize the next Slide Show Potluck here in SF!  This is a BIG deal people!  Submissions are open and due by June 16th!

Haven't heard of it?  Well, let me tell you about it!

Slide Show Pot Luck is a non-profit arts organization that provides an opportunity for artists and arts-appreciators to gather around food, friends, and artwork. The evening begins with mingling and dining on the home-cooked delights of those who attend, and then the lights are dimmed, the crowd is hushed, and a spectacular slideshow commences.

Submission details?

Submit your work by WEDNESDAY, June 16th! We are accepting submissions from all corners of the globe and will be putting together a diverse and dynamic show. The theme for SLPS-SF IV is SUSTAIN. SLPS is a place to share your work as artists with the community. And this time we'd like to share with the community what SUSTAIN means to you.  (you dont have to be a photographer to enter but entries MUST be in the form of digital files.)


By definition  sustain is a parameter of musical sound over time. As its name implies, it denotes the period of time during which the sound remains before it becomes inaudible, or silent. What sustains you as an artist - in your vision, your life, your world? Is it about sustainability and the capacity to endure or sustenance, a means of livelihood, your bread and butter? Is it the work itself - the process?

Concentrate!

Have you been getting frustrated with your list of "To Do's" or are multitasking like a crazy person but cant seem to get anything done?

Dat kid has da money momma!

Went to Costco today...I try to avoid going unless I have a very important list of things I ABSOLUTELY need.


Despite the beautiful weather we are having today, it seemed that every kid I saw in the store was upset about something.  It usually doesn't phase me much but I was defiantly noticing some unhappiness going on.


After standing in line for 30 minutes I finally get up to pay.  The kid behind me stops crying when he saw me pull out my money.  In a shocked and very surprised voice he said,


"Dat kid has da money! Momma, dat kid has da money!"


I looked over and he was pointing to me!  His mom and I looked at each other and started to laugh.  I was then introduced to Ben, who is 5 year old and like turtles.
